How fresh is the coffee?
Fresh! We roast weekly and include a roast date on each jar or bag so there is full transparency as to how old the coffee is. Typically, the coffee is roasted just a few days before it is delivered to your door. Generally speaking, for optimal taste, coffee should be rested for a few days before brewing. For espresso, it should be rested a minimum of 7-10 days after roasting.
How do the jar refunds work?
Each jar you purchase includes a $1 refundable deposit. When we pick up your jars on your next scheduled delivery, our delivery riders keep track of how many empties you have left out. We issue refunds on a monthly basis. It usually takes 3-4 business days after a refund has been issued to show up on your account.
When do you deliver?
We deliver by bike weekly in Toronto and Hamilton. The exact day of your delivery depends on what neighbourhood you live in. Please see our Delivery Map for times and boundaries.
Shipments: When does the coffee ship?
For orders before 12pm, the coffee will ship same day. For all orders after 12pm, the coffee will ship the next business day. The exception to this is for some of our more rare coffee offerings and whether the coffee is available. If it is not available at the time of your order- we will ship once the coffee has been roasted.

For Post Mark Coffee (Mailers), we ship on Monday's of each week to ensure delivery is made by the end of the week.
Where does your coffee come from?
All over! That said we typically source a majority of our coffees from Latin (Central and South) America. We try to support countries with lower GDPs and produce great tasting, high quality organic and fair trade coffees.

If I sign up for regular delivery (subscription), do I have to make a commitment?
No, you can cancel, edit and skip weeks at anytime. Pause your account if your going away on vacation. Our goal is to provide you with the freshest, best tasting coffee and customer service.
How do I skip weeks?
Its easy, click on "Manage Subscription" on the top navigation bar. If you are not signed into you account, it will ask you to sign in.
From there, click on the subscription you would like to skip.
You will then see your upcoming order dates. Choose the order date/week you would like to skip and click "Skip Order" on the right hand side of the screen.

For regular delivery (subscription)- what day of the week is my order processed?
Generally speaking, most orders are processed on Monday mornings. So if you would like to put a skip in for a week, you must do so by Sunday at midnight.
